What is required to open an account?

To open an account with Bueno you need:
1. A Spanish address (or be in the process to buy)
2. A NIE/DNI (Spanish tax ID)
3. Valid ID such as a passport or EU/EEA ID card

Bueno is focusing on those who own a property in Spain, long term renters and people in the process of buying in Spain. Were others are focusing on your personal finances we instead focus on your property.

The account application takes 5-10 minutes to fill out online. Approval is typically same day and can be as quick as minutes. Applications in weekends and on Spanish Holidays may be delayed until next working day. 

Customers are accepted from worldwide if they meet the requirements (Spanish address and DNI/NIE number). Customers from EU/EEA and the UK might be approved quicker as we rarely have to ask for additional documents (a valid ID is enough to open the account). Foreign resident of Spain is of course accepted unless they hold a US passport, we cannot accept US customers.

No, you never have to queue at a branch again! Your account opening process is managed 100% online. There is no need to travel or to leave your home to become a Bueno customer. 

Your money is protected by regulated banks. 100% of your deposits are held in segregated accounts with traditional banks and do not form part of Bueno’s assets. We don't not have access to your money, only you can access your funds.
